Updated 17 Oct 2026 · LLCTally
Facts checked on
State fees change. This log lists the changes we found in the official sources, with the source that shows each one. We started the log on 17 October 2026: earlier changes come from what the sources themselves say.
Changes found on 17 October 2026
- Delaware: annual LLC tax from 300 to 400 dollars. A copy of the Division of Corporations page kept by the Internet Archive on 14 February 2026 says LLCs “must pay the $300 yearly tax on or before June 1st” [138]. The same page today says 400 dollars [26].
- Louisiana: new fees. Louisiana’s page of 2026 fee changes lists, from 1 October 2026, 125 dollars for the articles of organization, 35 dollars for annual reports and 185 dollars for a foreign LLC [49].
- Pennsylvania: an annual report from 2025. The annual report filing began in 2025 and the decennial report requirement was repealed; LLCs file between January 1 and September 30 [95].
- Kansas: information fee amended on 27 February 2026. The regulation as amended sets an information fee of 5 dollars online for biennial reports, in addition to any other fees specified in regulation or statute [43]. The online information report form gives 90 dollars [42].
- Texas: a higher no tax due threshold. For the 2026 and 2027 franchise tax reports the no tax due threshold is 2,650,000 dollars, up from 2,470,000 dollars for 2024 and 2025 [108].
How to read this log
Each entry names the state, what changed and the sources. When we read the sources again, new changes are added at the top with the date we found them. The current fees of the states we could read are in the table of filing fees and in annual reports and state taxes by state. How we read the sources is on how we verify.
